Build the 2 Ladders

You can assemble ladders ahead of time so there is less to do at your stand location

Construct the ladders as shown in the diagrams below. Note that four ladder rungs may be cut from a single 8 ft 2x4. The slightly less than 24" widths account for the small loss from cutting. Note: The 48" piece on the upper ladder may be attached after the ladder is attached for ease of transport, if needed. Use one or two deck screws on each fastening location and also two galvanized nails after the pieces are secured with the screws.
